Abigail Jane Greenland

Abigail is the daughter of Richard Greenland and granddaughter of George Greenland, and is descended through the Molyneux line from Anthony George Molyneux Greenland. She is the wife of Brandon Noble LeClaire and a co-founder of the modern House of Greenland-LeClaire.

Through her marriage on 22 May 2026 the English Greenland arms — azure, a lion rampant or — were joined to the historic LeClaire arms of Lorraine, producing the new joint armorial bearings of the House of Greenland-LeClaire under the dual mottoes De Nomine et Sanguine and Nec Timeo Nec Sperno.

The Greenland family is an established English line whose recorded arms — azure, a lion rampant or — are documented within the family archive. Abigail's branch descends through the Molyneux connection and into the present generation through her father Richard Greenland.

The 2026 union of the Greenland and LeClaire houses marks the formal joining of two independent armigerous lines: the LeClaire of Lorraine, Alsace and the Rhineland, and the Greenland of England.
