Research history
An earlier version of this archive identified Mengin Le Clerc with Johann III von Mengen and consequently assigned Catherine de Bauffremont as his wife. The canonical pedigree now records his wife and Colin's mother as Catherine de Gircourt. Johann III von Mengen is retained as a separate research record and is not an ancestor of this line.
